Poppy and Rafe – Kent Marquee Wedding

Poppy and Rafe are simply just the most wonderful couple. Ever since I first spoke to them, they were full of smiles and love, and I just knew their wedding day was going to be special. I had the pleasure of covering both Rafe and Poppy getting ready in the morning, resulting in such lovely photographs. I loved the moments between Poppy and her dad, photographs I know they will treasure for a long time.

Rafe’s reaction when Poppy walked down the aisle in the church is not one I’ll forget – he was completely in awe. It was a beautiful ceremony in such a quaint church, and I loved the explosion of confetti outside when they left.

The reception marquee was decorated so beautifully, with minimalistic colours that worked so well. I adored the speeches, everyone was full of laughter! At this point, although you wouldn’t believe it, the skies opened and we had some heavy rain. But it cleared up and we had the most glorious sunset, so took the opportunity for the couple photographs then and it was so worth it!

The rest of the evening was so much fun, I loved every minute. Poppy and Rafe, it was completely my pleasure, thank you so much for having me along!

Matt and Marina – Cyprus Wedding Photography

Wow! What an incredible wedding this was. It was such an honour to be a part of Matt and Marina’s wonderful wedding in Cyprus. Marina and Matt met once Marina moved to the UK to study, but she grew up in Cyprus. It seemed only fitting to take all of their family and friends to this beautiful little island and celebrate in true Cypriot fashion!

The Cypriots like to do things a little differently to the English and I am all for it! They start the day with two separate celebrations, where the friends and family of each the bride and groom go to their respective houses. They then have the dressing of the groom, and the dressing of the bride, where the friends and family help the bride and groom to finish getting ready. The groom then waits outside the church, with all of his friends and family, with the bride’s bouquet. The bride and all her friends and family following her, walk to the groom, she takes her bouquet and then they lead all their guests into the church. I absolutely love these different traditions, it was absolutely brilliant to be a part of.

It was a wonderful ceremony and gorgeous weather as to be expected. I loved the drinks reception in the church courtyard before sneaking off for a few couple portraits around the town and then up in the mountains. Matt and Marina then kicked off the party with their first dance on arrival – another Cypriot tradition – before enjoying some wonderful food and lovely speeches before the party kicked off!

Poppy and Rafe – Spring Kent Couple Photoshoot

Poppy and Rafe are getting married in June and I cannot wait! We met ahead of the day to catch up and have a wander taking a few photos for this spring Kent couple photoshoot. The weather was awful this day, so when it finally cleared and the sun emerged just in time for our shoot I was absolutely thrilled!

Our location was simple, but I think that’s why it worked so well. The open fields and touches of blossom were beautiful. Rafe and Poppy felt awkward but it wasn’t long before they were laughing away and we had such a fun time shooting together. I absolutely loved how the photographs came out on this spring Kent couple photoshoot!

Monica and Kevin – Kent Park Couple Photoshoot

I absolutely loved meeting with Monica and Kevin for this Kent park couple photoshoot. We met at a favourite local spot of mine, Shorne Woods on a pleasant summer evening. We enjoyed walking around during sunset getting to know each other and taking some beautiful photographs.

Despite getting eaten alive by gnats at first, we moved away from the pond area and found some spectacular spots high up out of the woods which was amazing! Monica and Kevin, despite feeling so awkward in front of the camera, loved my natural style of capturing the two of them together. This resulted in such lovely photographs of the two of them.

A beautiful couple and a beautiful Kent park couple photoshoot!

Kent Couple Woodland Photoshoot – Becky and Tim

I met up with Becky and Tim on a mild October day for this amazing Kent couple woodland photoshoot. It may have been drizzling the entire drive down to the shoot however we got really lucky and it stayed dry the entire time!

This woodland is one of my favourite locations in Kent, being just outside Tunbridge Wells so it is really central. The trees and colours here, especially in autumn, make for such fantastic photographs. I loved shooting here a while back with Rob and Jo as well, when we used smoke bombs!

Becky and Tim are getting married next summer, so this autumnal shoot was quite a contrast from their wedding plans, which I love. We spent the hour chatting about their wedding day, and just had a lot of fun exploring the woodland finding sp,e lovely little spots to shoot in. These guys smiled throughout the entire shoot resulting in some truly wonderful photographs, full of joy and happiness.

Such a wonderful Kent couple woodland photoshoot, and now I cannot wait for Becky and Tim’s wedding next year!

Greece

Myself and my partner, Moe headed off to Greece for a two week stint in June, and had an absolute blast! We started in Athens for a couple of days, before heading to Santorini to celebrate my birthday. We spent a few days on this incredible island and it was clear to see why it’s such a popular place to visit. But to truly have a holiday means completely escaping so we headed to the little quiet island of Serifos for a week to completely unwind. This island was full of little gems, and such a peaceful place. We was so sad to be leaving the island but I am sure we will go back one day. We then had a quiet couple of days in Athens before flying back to the UK.

Such a memorable trip we will never forget!

Austria

Considering I very much deem myself a summer lover, and not a fan of the cold, Austria goes down as one of my most favourite trips ever! Myself and my partner Moe, took our two dogs which made it even more memorable. We headed down in Moe’s truck, to a cute little cabin for a week in a small town called Edelschrott. We were hoping for snow, but alas, it was so mild! We still had such a wonderful week and then decided to extend our trip in hopes of finding some snow. We headed up to the town of Ebensee, which was the perfect place to go! This place has so many lakes, plus the lovely little village of Hallstatt, which is so picture perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring, going on long walks and admiring the snow covered perfect trees and buildings everywhere! We cannot wait for our next winter trip!

Sharmaine and Darran – Malta Couple Shoot Photography

I absolutely love shoot in Malta, so I was so excited to get the chance for some more Malta couple shoot photography. Sharmaine is also a photographer, looking to do a couple shoot abroad somewhere in Europe! So when she saw I was visiting Malta, she decided to book a trip and we met up to have this amazing Malta couple shoot!

Sharmaine and Darran are a wonderful couple, and we chatted and laughed as we walked through Valletta to our first photo spot location. It was great to get to know them a little better before we got stuck into shooting! Once we reached the first location we all felt much more relaxed and comfortable and the photos were an absolute breeze to take. Sharmaine being a wedding and couple photographer herself, meant she knew the drill – but being behind the camera is never the same as being in front of it! However they felt super relaxed and this meant some really beautiful, natural photographs.

After we had finished in Valletta, we drove to the sea where we had some incredible views and a stunning beach. I have been here a couple times before to shoot so I know it well, it’s one of my favourite spots in Malta! We enjoyed shooting in the mild evening during the beautiful sunset, right until it went down.

I had such a fun Malta couple shoot with these two, thank you both so much for being so amazing – I absolutely love the photos!

Alice and Alex – Holland Park London Couple Photoshoot

We might have shot in December for this Holland Park London Couple Photoshoot, but it certainly didn’t look like it! It was a super mild day, and the sun even decided to come out for a little bit.

It was lovely to get to meet up with Alice and Alex for this pre-wedding photoshoot. They are getting married next December, and I cannot wait! It was a great chance to catch up, chat about the wedding and just get to know these two a little better. They were a little awkward in front of the camera to begin with, but it didn’t take them long to relax and have fun.

We really enjoyed wandering around Holland Park, there are some beautiful streets and simply gorgeous backdrops for photographs! We were absolutely spoilt for choice and Alex and Alice were a joy to photograph. Roll on the wedding!
